Privacy Policy – Focus First

Focus First is a productivity app designed to help users reduce distracting screen time and build better focus habits.

1. Data Storage

• Focus settings, rules, goals, and app selections are stored locally on your device.
• If iCloud Sync is enabled, data may be synced through your personal iCloud account.
• We do not operate our own servers for storing your Screen Time activity data.

2. Screen Time Permissions

• Focus First uses Apple's Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks to help block selected apps and measure focus progress.
• Usage information is accessed only after you grant permission.
• This information is used only for app functionality such as blocking distractions, tracking focus progress, and calculating rewards.
• Screen Time data remains on-device and is not sold or shared with advertisers.

3. Analytics

• Analytics are disabled by default and only enabled if you choose to allow them.
• Analytics may include anonymous events such as screen views, onboarding completion, button taps, subscription events, and feature usage.
• We do not collect app names, detailed Screen Time activity, messages, photos, browsing history, or private content for analytics.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

• Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
• We do not receive or store your payment card information.
• Subscription status may be verified through Apple's systems to unlock premium features.

5. Data Sharing

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share Screen Time activity data with advertisers.
• Information may only be disclosed when required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the app.

6. User Controls

• You can change or revoke Screen Time permissions through your device settings.
• You may delete app data by removing the app or clearing stored data where available.
• You can disable analytics at any time within the app.

7. Children's Privacy

Focus First is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.
